The Reversed Incubator was kicked off in Italy as an Unconference.

Themes of discussion 

During the event, several innovation themes and sectors were discussed by the participants and event coordinators on how to create a successful innovation plan. The interest shown by the participants varied in specificity, based on their innovation needs and expectations. Some participants showed interest in structural and safety innovation, such as creating a more accessible environment for disabled persons and production plant structure innovation for more efficient production. A few more concerns touched upon the need to innovate the technological aspects of products, by companies which may lack the food technology expertise and may therefore benefit from the aid of the ASKFOOD Reversed incubator.

Overall, all companies and start-ups acknowledged the fact that the ASKFOOD Reversed incubator could benefit their growth. It was agreed that there would be company and start up visits in the future by the ASKFOOD reversed incubator coordinators to consolidate the alliance and their position within the project. These visits also allowed the coordinators to have a greater and tangible understanding of the innovation needs of each participant.
