The project is focused on the identification, design and development of solutions and ideas relevant for the food industry with specific action on improvement and innovation of food processing as well as quality and safety of foods. Teams participate in 6 online trainings based on action-learning principles.

Learning Outcomes:
Each team of students works on a real, food industry-based problem in sustainability and therefore improve specific knowledge and competences. All students will improve group cooperation skills and awareness of the importance and benefits of teamwork in a competitive environment. All students will participate in an action-oriented, participatory learning experience in which they will share knowledge and improve skills in a virtual environment.

Teaching Methodology:
Action-learning and participatory learning.

Companies have been involved in the project: in the 2021 cycle of FoodFactory-4-Us, each student team must have a mentor from a large or small food-related industry.
